Mission Statement

  • Section I. - The purpose for which this Society is established shall be to advance the art and science of radiologic technology.

  • Section II. - To assist in establishing and maintaining high standards of education and training, and to elevate the quality of patient care, and to improve the welfare of socio-economics of radiologic technologists.

  • Section III. - To provide meetings for the reading of scientific papers and discussion of problems pertaining to the profession of radiologic technology.

  • Section IV. - To stimulate and encourage research designed to provide the knowledge needed to assure increasingly efficient patient care.

  • Section V. - To initiate policies concerning the professional status, legislative activities, and welfare of radiologic technologists.

  • Section VI. - To cooperate with external organizations for the betterment of the profession of radiologic technology.

  • Section VII. - To assist in promoting sound, ethical conduct and proficiency of the radiologic technologists, so as to command the respect and confidence of the radiological and medical profession.
