Membership
Categories
Active
Members - those
in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) who shall submit the prescribed application form properly completed
together with the required fees; has the right to vote: must be an ASRT member
to hold office.
Associate
Members - shall
be those persons who are employed in the technical or educational aspects of
imaging modalities, who do not qualify for active membership or those persons
who are engaged in the commercial aspects of medical imaging modalities.
Associate members shall have all the privileges and obligations of members
except the right to hold office. Can
vote.
Student
Member - shall
be those members who are enrolled in a training program acceptable for credit by
the ARRT. Eligibility for this category shall terminate on conclusion of,
or discontinuation of such training. Student members shall have all the
privileges and obligations of members except the right to hold the office of
President.
Life
Member - shall
be members who have rendered unusual service to the Society. They shall be
selected by a majority vote at a regular meeting upon unanimous recommendation
from the Board of Directors. They shall pay no dues, but shall have all
the privileges of a member.
Honorary
Members - shall
be those persons who because of the interest they have evidenced in the activity
and aims of this Society, the Society wishes to honor. The honorary member
shall be chosen by a majority vote at a regular meeting of the Society.
They shall pay no dues but shall have all the privileges of members except the
right to vote or hold office.
Associate
Retired Members - upon
change from Active to Associate Retired Member, the member may submit an
application to the Treasure requesting a change to the Associate Retired Member
category, (No additional fee other than the normal annual dues is
required.)
